My younger brother Connor payed a visit to Dinkytown for one week. He’s in Allendale right now, but he’ll be back in MN for camp (as well as the rest of the family minus the older sister).
Monday night, we played a game of soccer on campus.
On Tuesday, we took a [sweet] walk downtown with Ben, in which we stopped in at Collin’s dad’s work. He works on the 3rd highest floor in the tallest skyscraper in Minneapolis. The view was great…and nobody had thought to bring a camera.
Wednesday, we went on a quick trip to the mall, where Connor brought new sandals for my birthday (thanks bud!). I think we also did something else this day. In the evening, there was video broadcasting, and soccer afterwards.
Thursday, Connor spent the day in Burnsville with a few other high-school guys, working and swimming at Olson’s. I took the day off. We met up at the servant camp meeting. (I’m unit head for 6th grade girls, and Connor is working with 7th grade boys).
Friday was relaxing…Connor went to a Twin’s game in the evening with John and spent most of the day with the guys.
Saturday, I didn’t see Connor til about 4 o’clock. I was doing chores, then rested b/c of being sick, then I was head cook for Lord’s day. It turns out Connor did chores and then missionary work…and then he came to help cook. After Lord’s Day, we went and watched fireworks on the Stonearch bridge. There are some pictures on John’s account…I took the ones of the persons with Ben’s sweet camera. John and i decided that we had two subjects that night… 1. the people standing in the semi-circle around us, and 2. the fireworks.
Sunday, after church and brunch, I drove Connor into Burnsville, where he left for Allendale.
Sweet-ums! (as Connor would say)
